Our challenge was to breathe new life - light, color, excitement - into a tired, 1980's style condo.
Our concept was to use light reflecting materials and boldly colored contemporary furnishings and art to
create a home that would be both exciting and comfortable.
We began with surface changes throughout the home.
Gleaming slabs of 16" X 24" black ash slate and a rich pewter wool carpet were installed on the floor. Custom colored tile was used in the living room to reference the colors found in our
client's extensive collection of mid-century modern pottery. Benjamin Moore's "Brushed Aluminum" was
used throughout to provide a light, bright, but neutral background on which to display our client's
collection of contemporary art.
We finished with a smashing collection of high-end, custom-made, contemporary Italian furniture from
Bella Home.
